My Grandmother's House

I was early for my flight to Calgary today and it was gorgeous in Vancouver so I took a short detour and drove past the house where my grandmother lived LONG ago I grew up in Toronto. She and my grandfather lived in Vancouver so I didn't see her often. I spent two long visits with her here in this home. One Aug when I was nine and another who I was 16. I have wonderful memories.

The house is bigger now. An extension has been added to the left side as we look at it. The original house was confined to the roof line on the right. Big enough even then (especially for a young girl) with a large beautiful garden.
