Bridge

The day ladies curling group and their friends play bridge a couple of times a week at the curling club. Today was "Pizza Party Day" to celebrate the last day of the bridge season. Joslyn was my partner at the beginner's bridge table.

Bridge is an interesting and very competitive game where the official objective is to win the number of tricks that is bid. Unofficially, terms like "take-down" and "enemy" are common place and more properly reflect the cut-throat nature of the game. The lovely ladies that I have come to know through curling become completely different characters on Tuesday afternoons!
