My Mum and her hubbie were due to join us at Clare's Mum and Dad's for an Easter Sunday meal today. Unfortunately they had to cry off at the last minute because Keith was too ill to make the forty minute journey. Mum was really disappointed, she'd got all dolled up as well.
On Clare's wise suggestion I nipped up with the girls for a surprise visit. My Mum was so thrilled to see us. It really made her day, and mine.
