Anyone who ever held you...

Today started Early.  Very Early.

Lala McHicup  phoned the house this morning at 3.30, squealing at the top of her lungs "EILIDH EILIDH WHERE ARE YOU?? WHO ARE YOU?? WHO ARE YOU?? ".

Not what you want to hear 3.30 in the morning....

Worked out that Tooli had taken a detour whilst en route for the ride home, and Lala was trying to track her down, phoned the house instead of the mobile.

45 minutes later, Tooli crashed through the door, burst into our room, summarised her night out, and then disappeared again.  I got up at 8.30 to find her snoring on the couch, every light in the house on...

I knocked her and she darted, fully dressed up to bed, and by the time I followed her up,  She was sound asleep under the duvet.

We got up a few hours later and the three of us piled into the car and headed south.

We were out sussing out an expedition route for the Scouties.

Oh dear goodness, my Si does like terrorising us.

Up and down little tiny little dirt tracks, passing places, farm roads.  He even dumped us in a ditch at one point and we had to get out (to remove the excess weight on the car), both of us got splattered with mud, and yet he carried on regardless,  and took us up a diversion which said "No Entry", and left us in the car, whilst he wandered off for hours, and hours, and we sat and panicked that something / one might come out of the undergrowth and attack us.

Our tour of Galloway ended back in Ayrshire via Girvan and a fish supper whilst watching AIlsa Craig disappear behind the mist in a sparkly diamond encrusted sea, watched by hungry sea gals.

All in all a luffly day.   And all in the sunshine too.
