Aperture on Life

Pigs

My friends held a barbecue today.  The pigs are still too small to be on the menu yet.  They're an American breed but nobody could remember which. They're friendly little things and were up and at the gate for a scratch as soon as they saw me.  They live in a large pen which was full of bracken and brambles when the first pigs went in a couple of years ago.  Pigs work magic and all there is now is snout tilled sand.  James has been trying to convince me to get a couple. I love pigs and every time I see them I'm tempted... but,  No!

It's been a lovely day full of sunshine but chilly in the wind. I was glad of my jumper and could have done with a thicker one.  In hindsight, I should have come back to get one as I'm now shivering and can't get warm.  I've lit the fire and my next move is to the sofa with a blanket.
