The Blips that Got Away

Today I set eyes on but did not blip the following:

The full moon in the dawn sky.
Mist wreathed fields of Norfolk and Lincolnshire.
The brilliant sun rising in the rear view mirror
Endless blue sky laced with wisps and trails
Daffodils on the verges
Two signs saying an accident had closed the A66 and sending us on a U-turn diversion
The endless roadworks on the A1 north of Scotch Corner.
The traffic jams on the A1 at Newcastle
The magnificent Angel of the North.
The twenty minute queue at the traffic lights in the small town of  Ponteland.
The rolling hills which make one think of Border Reivers.
The piper at the Border
Jedburgh Abbey

So I didn't blip any of them as we spent 10 hours driving.  But this is a layby shot of the Tweed;  sorry.

On the bright side, our diversion led us to my sister's house where we chatted and drank coffee with Nephew 2, recovering enough to drive the final hour.  Left Norfolk 06.07.  Arrived Nth Lanarks. 17.45.
