Otley Chevin Cross

Otley Chevin was grey this morning when I took Chino for his morning walkies.  The cross there was looking quite striking (thank you Midgehole Dave for telling me it was there)... and I'd taken my tripod with me to get an uber sharp, super cool pic....Oh the best laid plans... I fell in the heather... wrestled with my tripod a while and Chino just rolled his eyes and looked the other way... I do hope I don't embarrass him lol!

The cross was built from the remnants of the bomb attack at Manchester in 1996 - and the young chap at the base was having his photo taken by his Dad.
What a gorgeous afternoon it's been - in between prepping my Yorkshires and roasties I sat in the garden with my arms out - I know!!!!!
