Maiden visit of a goldfinch

I recently added Niger seeds to my bird feeder on advice of a friend. And now this morning the goldfinches arrived. (Least wise I think that is what they are) I had to act quickly and took them through the window but the end result is ok. I am so pleased to get a new visitor.

They obviously came to celebrate my first night's complete sleep for a week. I stayed in bed until very late and feel really refreshed and full of beans (well bacon and eggs anyway). Have a lovely relaxing Sunday I am well relaxed now and I think post cold at last!
