Very Friendly Cows

Headed right down to the bottom of the Isles this morning, and to be honest there wasn't a lot there. Didn't even get to see a puffin! The place was so deserted that we spent ages driving around looking for a petrol station and just as we were about to have serious problems finally found one, just hidden in basically the back of someone's house!
After our brief panic, we had our packed lunch at the top of a cliff looking out over the sea and other islands. We then headed out for a walk to find another broch and had a wee walk along a beautiful white sandy beach. Then visited the Orkney fossil and heritage centre, which despite its small size was a really good little museum with lots of impressive fossils and facts.
This evening we took a walk around the village where we are staying where there is a dairy farm. The cows were VERY friendly and here are a couple showing a great interest in TSP!
