Another quiet day

It was great getting an extra hour sleep in this morning, although at the other end of the day it's 6.30pm and dark outside.  

We've had a very quiet day.  The boys did the lawns, and while the sun was shinning this afternoon, I took this photo of our autumn roses.  They smell beautiful.

Had a bit of excitement this afternoon, with the fire siren going off in the township, and the screaming of the police and two fire engines heading up our valley.  Very scary when something has happened on the road you live.  Half an hour later a tow truck went up and bought down a vehicle with its front all crushed in.  Hopefully there were no serious injuries.
