Autumn Tints

Looking across the estuary to the walkway on the far side, it was obvious  that the trees are changing their colours , even though the days are still warm.

It was a shame about the dead branch - but I guess that is a cycle of nature and in time it will fall off into the mudflats and serve as a perch for kingfishers, shags and herons.
