Final Sunrise...

... for now. Tonight daylight savings finishes and the clocks go back an hour.  It will be too early (and cold) to be out chasing the dawn from tomorrow so Blipmate and I made a final effort and went out to the coastal highway this morning before the sun got up.

I loved the way the orangy-red  clouds were reflected back in the mudflats

It is surprising how much earlier than the actual sunrise, that the magical light appears in the sky - and we nearly missed that best part.

On the positive side, it will become easier now to capture a sunset at a reasonable hour.
