the village green

Sienna's school is situated just up from the village green and on Tuesday she goes to Rainbows in the village hall on it. It is a treasure of a place and always makes me think of this song - both The Kinks version and Kate Rusby's.

Tonight it was the girls and I picnicking on the Green in the sunshine at the start of the Jubilee Celebrations that are upon us!
