love of labour

As we are still burning a fire with summer refusing to take a grip up here in the north-west, we needed more wood. Thanks to the tress that fell down in the recent high winds, we got hold of a decent load of the stuff from Grandma's farm. Nature takes and nature gives!

Steve was in his element splitting the stuff - this is a great antidote to a week of work at a desk.

Me - I'm not proud to say was suffering - the night out with the girls was a night out indeed. Brilliant fun though so worth a bit of the pain I feel.

However as I have seven people coming to stay at the end of the week, hangover or not, there was cleaning and sorting to do - bed will be very welcomed tonight!
