Saturday: Snow Filled Sky

We were up relatively early this morning which was fine as we wanted to drive some mountain passes that we had been told were pretty spectacular.  But, because there was a snow warning, all the passes were closed, something we didn't realise until we sat in front of the closed barriers, looking a bit nonplussed.

But, never mind.  We still had a lovely drive. We are right on the border with Slovenia, Austria and Italy so we had a coffee in Italy just so that we could say we had.

Our apartment has a jacuzzi and a sauna.......it's for our colds, you know.......

By this evening, you couldn't even see the mountain.  We're still waiting for the snow, though.
