Dartmoor Blue bells
Well I had to go back to Emsworthy this morning to try my hand with the blue bells again. I think I was a little too late as the sun came out and the light was a little harsh.
This morning I shared the scene with another photographer and an artist who were both like me trying to capture the power of this landscape.
Today's photograph shows one of the open fields . The large house in the distance is called Holwell and they owned all the field of bluebells.
I eventually tore myself away as it was 10.30 and I had not had my breakfast yet!, and we were coming home to East Devon today as we had someone coming to measure up for some blinds for Mrs M.
It was 3pm before Jinxy had his second walk and off we went to do battle with the local authority who seem intent at the moment to repair all the counties roads, at the same time!!!!! Jinxy was full of energy and had his ball to chase to try to take some of his steam out. On our route we were passing a bench where a young couple were busily engaged in each other when the young lady was brought down to earth with a cold spaniel nose on her leg followed by a wet slimy ball on her feet.
I hurried on pretending he was not with me but I don't think that worked. She did throw his ball him though.
