Jack of all trades

My dad uses this phrase.....jack of all trades and master of none.
Today was spent running errands n doing jobs. I cleared out some of the spare bedroom and then decided to try and fix the roof (following some expert advice) as it has been leaking in all of this darn rain.
R's wound is still weeping but we are hoping that it is just excess fluid that needs to come out.
