Cooking, eggs and chicks

My Good Friday has been spent working hard in the kitchen, preparing for my daughter and her family coming to stay for Easter. 
Soup, crumble, butterfly cakes, and biscuits in the shape of chicks, lambs and rabbits! I listened to music from the first day of the Classic FM Hall of Fame, and looked out at the birds feeding - and the rain!
This is a rather poor picture of the Easter tree - the little eggs actually have different patterns on them which are hard to see. I might add a few little flowers tomorrow. 
We managed a FaceTime with the family in Cheshire. My little granddaughter there just had to show me her first ever, tiny, plaits!!
