Walking the stations of the cross

I have now attended and participated in 3 of these Good Friday ecumenical walks and each year it gets bigger.

I have noticed that I start off feeling a bit self conscious, but by the end, the story of Christ's torture and death, his Passion, engulfs me in a sombre mood which is suitable for the day.
