Borrowed pleasure

This is the clematis which belongs to my neighbour and kindly comes over to my side.  It is an absolute picture at the moment, but I think it will need a trim after flowering.
For those of you interested, the courier arrived at 5 minutes to 5, so five minutes before the deadline, but at least I will not have to wait in another day.  I tried contacting the person who had arranged the pick up and of course they had gone home!
Friends for supper tonight and I have made a large cottage pie and will follow it with apple crumble, means I only have to sort the veg out when they come and it gives us time to open the bottle (or bottles!)
