Exotic
I was taken by surprise when walking along the back of our house and found this Grevillea in flower. It was supposed to flower in spring so you can imagine my surprise to see one flower on this new plant.
A plant from Australia, the cultivar is a cross between a white-flowered form of the Queensland species and a red/orange flowered form from Western Australia. I'm intrigued to try and capture its different phases over the next few days or weeks.
Thanks kindly to BikerBear for hosting the flowerFriday challenge :)
A lovely sunny day with an autumnal feel in the air, light breeze, warm in the sun but cooler elsewhere.
Happy Easter everyone :)
