Like a summer's day......

After the chill of the morning air the day was calm and very warm, 26C. Many people were out and about, strolling along the beaches, picnicking, dog walking or heading off on holiday.

Mum and I took a moment to savour this view, the tide well out, glistening water and a slight haze of sea mist along the horizon. It was a picture of tranquillity with its more subtle shades, just like a summer's day.

On the way home we stopped off at a wetlands area where mum, walkingS, got her blip for the day :)

And I just wanted to note that on this day a little fantail was flittering around in the supermarket keeping us all entertained with his loud chirps as we did our grocery shop :))
