Back to winter
We were up early this morning and got the first flight out to Zurich. It was raining and pretty miserable weather in Zurich, and as we drove up the valley towards the mountains the rain soon turned to snow - light at first then fat, heavy flakes. By the time we got to Klosters it was snowing heavily. Gavin and I had some appointments and things to do, so did not mind the weather, but the boys, and Molly who has joined us, were hoping to ski. There was no point skiing in such awful conditions.
We met with a carpenter who is going to do some work in the apartment, and as we tried to drive out of the car park we found we were stuck! Despite having snow tyres on the car we could not get up a gentle slope from the car park back on to the road. His staff came out to help us, and while the men were pushing the car up the slope I jumped out the car and quickly took this photo of the village church. It was snowing so heavily that I could hardly see what I was doing.
We then managed to get to the supermarket to get some food and are now relaxing in the apartment looking at the snow falling heavily outside.
