Vintage Navy M28
I am home since yesterday and at home a parcel was waiting for me with a pair of binoculars i bought at an online auction. On that site only a blurred picture was shown of a 7x50 glass. Strange enough this part of the binocular was not shown otherwise a lot more buyers would have shown interest. My best guess was that it was a German one. To my astonishment it appeared to be a top quality Bausch & Lomb Navy 7x50 M28 model. The code showed VV which means that it was manufactured in 1944. The lenses are mint, so the quality of this piece is fabulous. Bausch & Lomb, ring a bell? If you own Rayban sunglasses, look at the glasses itself, you'll the the B & L stamped in them. Yes Bausch & Lomb.
