Shine a light on me

I guess that my task for the next few days is to find an interesting, glamorous or creative aspect to the mundane tasks of DIY

Today I took a fancy to this little Halogen work-light. With the power supply off it is difficult to pull cables through when there is no light to see by. Handily  battery-powered and suitably portable, this does the trick.

Work progresses slowly as the "intricacies" of previous electrical work have proved challenging. Sawing wood and knocking it together has been postponed until tomorrow. There's no hurry - only 2 of three Tool Station packages turned up this morning and we are a touch stymied.

Hearts skipped a beat when the cooker box was removed - the wires weren't even screwed in! How I have escaped electrocution thus far is a mystery.
