Foinaven.. (again)..

..Just love seeing snow on here with a dark sky behind it. Taken from the front door with the 300 mm lens.. Can see the shadow of Dukes Mount on the hillside as well..

A cold, wintry showers day again, several times being white over with hail stones, and also had a couple of proper snow showers..

Been in the greenhouse and polytunnel all day. Sowed courgette, cucumber, pumpkin and butternut squash seeds, and 8 or 9 trays of herbs. Not got room in the propagators, so they're in the polytunnel with cloche covers on them. It does get warm during the day in there, but soon chills off at night too..

Potted on some cabbage plants that I sowed a fortnight ago..

A came round to say that I's satellite dish was broken. Went and had a look, and a rivet had corroded and failed. Drilled the remains out, and put a bolt in to fix it, and then went in the house to test it. Didn't work at first, but went out again and twisted the cables to clean them, and the TV came on OK. Don't need to get a repair man out, and it's working for when I's daughter comes up over Easter..
