First Rose of Summer

This is our first rose out this year.
It is climbing up the house, with the white clematis montana. I think it is called Golden Showers, but not sure as it is 15 years since I planted it.
Both need a good prune once they have finished flowering!

It has turned out to be another glorious day. (last night the clouds cleared and there was no thunder)

As the bottom has nearly fallen out of the BBQ, we went to B&Q for another today, needless to say they had not a lot left, and the one we wanted was out of stock, so have ordered one (due in next week but they didn't seem too sure if they would get any!)

Also ordered some more pebbles for the garden, from a local builders merchants( Hope to get some help tomorrow moving them!)

Planted some more pots up, including some runner beans. Hope the beans do better than last year as they were a complete failure!

Have a HUGE pile of ironing to do, But gardening always comes first!!!!!
