Seeing it anew ...

This road, which circles round the outer periphery of Dunoon, is one I walk along on days when I'm out purely for exercise. Today, the hail showers were so frequent and so fierce that anywhere that offered some protection seemed preferable to more picturesque surroundings, and Kilbride Hill did just that.

But just before the next shower - threatened in that dark cloud - arrived, I looked up in time to see the little tower of Holy Trinity church peeping over the trees from where it stands on its hill. I don't think I've ever photographed it from here ...
