Out among the sand dunes it has been a Curate's egg sort of day. Perishingly cold one minute and pleasantly warm the next. Grey skies alternating with blue. A calmness in the air rent asunder by the odd demi-gale. At least the place seems to be wonderfully and completely free of politicians and political canvassers!
