I believe I have mentioned my sad, pathetic, humbling 'love' for a spot in the city named Tommy's Joynt, so much is my affection for the place that I implore tourist - when asked (in my opinion) the stupidest question ever: "where's a good place to eat, someplace you locals go" - to venture over to the corner of Van Ness and Geary, grab a bar stool and meet 'the locals'

As you can see, Arlo may have been secretly dreaming of Tommy's . . . "walk right in, it's just around the bend . . . " 'smart phone' approved!
