Happiness is more than a state of mind

So - around here - life returned to normal today, somewhat, the city was alive with the sound of cash registers registering, cable cars were cabling up and down California and Hyde streets, tourist were being obnoxious, wanton snobs and me, well I was smiling like a dead man's funeral director cashing that deposit check! (Don't ask)

We had lunch at Tommy's Joynt (seriously, if you're thinking/planning a trip to the city, you gotta stop here, you just have to) buffalo - actually North American Bison - chili dogs! plus four or so pints of Red Stripe, Oh baby!!

(We Had baby-girl drive us back across the bridge, so none of that tsk, tsking on drink driving)

The 'duck' family are safely in a wildlife sanctuary out in Petaluma and reportedly are fine, thank you all for your concern!

We spotted this guy out in the lagoon after returning home, he's just - I guess - "slumming"

Yep, happiness indeed can be a way of life
