Molten gold morning

An early alarm today to do a station run. I was bleary, but grateful when I saw how beautiful the dawn was over the nature reserve. The sky was cloudless and an almost translucent pale blue above a fiery golden sunrise.

Just beautiful, and I was so glad I saw it. It has been all downhill from there, though, with clouds scudding in during the morning and ferocious winds and rain tonight.

Hope it clears up. I'm driving a 1960s classic car tomorrow ...
