Hibiscus
As we are traveling home from Tenerife later today and opportunities for a blip will be limited, I have decided to post early while my hotel wi-fi access is still valid. I would have liked to do something special for my 300th blip, but there simply isn't the time when you have to vacate your room and sort everything out for going home.
Every day for the last week as we have made our way to and from the various restaurants in our complex, I have admired the beautiful Hibiscus that border some of the paths. In fact I have blipped them several times, but decided to keep this for my last blip here as they have been getting fuller every day. They can however be a bit of a pest if you brush up against their yellow pollen in your light coloured chinos, as I did! Never mind, just have to put them out for a wash when we get home.
Can't believe I have reached 300 and it seems like only yesterday that my sister was pestering me to sign up instead of just following her pages! So far its been a great journey, which has encouraged me to take photography a bit more seriously and I have learned so much. I have also been in touch with so many wonderful people in this virtual community who I now consider to be friends. So thanks to everyone for their comments and words of support, it is you who really make blip so worthwhile and special!
Apologies, but commenting is likely to be limited until later tomorrow when we are home.
