Come On Mum

Maisie and Oscar go mad as soon as I put my wellie boots on. Thats usually a sign they are going for a walk. But sometimes I need to put my wellies on just to do the garden.
Today I put them on to do the garden. They got so excited and run up the driveway and waited for me to follow them. Walking the dogs this morning wasn't on the agenda but their little faces got to me so we went earlier than usual.
They were very good when I got back. They were my little helpers. Dragging sticks and branches all over the place...anyway they had a nice time.
Me on the other hand worked tirelessly in the garden until it started to go dark. I even missed my gym session.
I'm going to have a nice hot bath tonight and an early night. I'm on my own this evening and making the most of it.
