Mono Monday – Pattern
Being Autumn (though you wouldn't know it from the warm weather at the moment) the oak leaves are slowly starting to turn colour – much later than happens when we have a scorching hot summer and they turn in February (due to heat stress, not cold!) They are also full of ladybirds.
Plenty of patterns here - the play of light through the leaves makes a pattern, the leaves are patterned and the ladybird is patterned. Please excuse my letting a tiny bit of colour back in! This image has been processed to death in Silver Efex!
Thanks very much to Chantler63 for hosting MM in March – someone else is doing it in April (not sure who?).
