The chase

Day two of Tournament today.  We began with a powhiri (welcome ceremony), where all of our students did us proud.  Then they all went on to sports - today they have competed in lawn bowls, art challenge, touch rugby and basketball.  

A full on day.  Some exhausted kids at the end of it !

I gave panning a go - trying to capture some of the speed.  This is one of our students chasing down the opposition. He didn't catch him but he put in a mammoth effort and definitely gained ground on him.

The staff dinner was on tonight for all the staff involved in tournament from all the schools.  I didn't go because I have two billet, but I fed them an another three so that some other staff could go.  

Jasper is having a ball with all the attention she is getting from all the visitors.
