Beached!

Today I drove down to Dungeness in Kent for a blip meet with friends and fellow blippers:

We met at the Britannia Inn for a hot chocolate before venturing out onto the beach. It was a pretty dull day with some light rain and very strong winds! There was definitely no chance of a sunset tonight!

Dungeness is a fabulous location - old boats, rusty parts of machinery and diggers and beach huts can all be found littered on the beach. There's light houses, a power station and even a steam railway. 

Dinner was had at the Pilot Inn which came highly recommended and was just down the road from our B&B.  I went for the medium cod and chips .... delicious, but it was huge! I left just enough room for a chocolate puddle dessert afterwards! Back to our comfy B&B and the couple of bottles of wine kindly supplied by Gill and Trevor! 

Had a really good day and i'm looking forward to getting out again in the morning (although it won't be the early sunrise shoot we were planning!).
