Memorial Day USA
Memorial Day in the USA originated after the Civil War, 1862-1865. It is an annual commoration of soldiers that have died in wars.
It is a time to fly flags and to decorate graves in cemeteries.
This display is along the roadside in the town of Catalina, near our home.
