Sugar beet mountain

Its like it's slipping back to Winter today - very wet and windy and I feel chilled.

There were large numbers of birds keeping together and low for some shelter. Lots of Black-headed Gulls and Starlings & Jackdaws. Great to see Fieldfare still around. A real treat was realising that one field didn't have a few little mice running around but in fact was alive with Meadow Pipits about 100.

The sugar beet mountain is sheep feed but I'm sure other wildlife will enjoy it
