The Young Wives

We met this group of young ladies this afternoon. They seem to have plenty to say to each other.

We managed a short walk in light rain avoiding the heavy rain before and the deluge afterwards.

We were looking for specific bird species that indicate a change of seasons and saw little sign.

We did see a single female Stonechat - a hopeful start. There was a Dipper on Little Crowden Brook and a good selection of Thrushes around the campsite including Redwing. Highlight was a closeup view of a pair of Treecreepers.
