The Floating Light

Doing *this* blip still reeling a little bit about a birthday card I found when tidying up tonight. I hadn't realised the significance of the painting on the card till I looked at it again. I'll photograph it tomorrow. It's a bit raw yet.

Monday was a day spent buzzing between meetings and then schools, albeit in the Figaro with the top down and sunnies on!

After work I got the girls some treats - bubbles and charms for E, make up and nail polish for J and I got myself down to Poundland and got some lanterns for the garden.

We ate tea al fresco tonight then Eve and I waited till dusk, lit the lanterns and the lantern bags!

Just pop in a tealight and a stone to weight them down... and considering they are three for a quid - they looked really nice on the wall - especially when I popped in one of my heart pebbles {blip}

It was nice to look at the tree and little garden all lit up this evening. It took my mind off being half frightened and half excited about all the projects, activities and events going on that I have to manage in work over the next few months.

I was awake at 4.30am this morning going over stuff in my head.

Got to be done. No going back now eh?
