Stirlingshire landscape
Being driven south today from Dunkeld in really bad weather conditions I did not expect much in the way of photo opportunities. However, approaching the exit road from the M9 for Stirling, where it crosses the River Forth and the Ochil Hills come into view, there was a fleeting break in the cloud. I took a couple of rapid shots out of the passenger side window with the camera resting on the glass which was clear of raindrops. I was amazed to see in the second shot that I had also captured a soaring bird, probably a sparrow hawk, positioned against the light patch of sky. How lucky is that! I reckon this reinforces the notion that you should always have your camera at the ready!
