Easy Rider

I went out to our local Horse Sports this morning.  What a great day.  Very casual and family oriented with exciting horse races like the 'spud' race and the 'egg and spoon' - plenty of adults cursing over broken eggs.

I'm not a horse person at all but I did love the atmosphere and the chance to take photos of horses and riders moving about.  I took lots of movement and panning shots (really hard with the way a horse moves) and got lots of neat shots - but when I know nothing about horses except that they have a biting end and a shi**ing end, choosing the 'best' photo was impossible.

This is young J.  He's a four year old cowboy who helped me take photos today.  But you know, when you've been riding hard (and he did), no matter how tough you are, a man just has to take a break and have a chocolate milk.
