Duckface x 3

A trip to the Photographers' Gallery to see Human Rights Human Wrongs, which I thought included some superb photographs but wasn't very well curated, then to the National Portrait Gallery for Sargent: Portraits of Artists and Friends, which I liked very much. I've loved Sargent's Lady Agnew of Lochnaw, which hangs in the National Gallery of Scotland, for years, so it was a real treat to see more of his work. Then an hour hanging around in Trafalgar Square taking pictures of people taking pictures of themselves – what ever happened to smiling? – before dinner in Brixton with the lovely Ros.
