And sadly those countries with lots of it to spend can dictate the agenda. They are the political equivalent of the abnormally big kid who ruled the school playground through fear.

If you are wondering where this little rant came from, read about it here,. Basically, the Swedish foreign minister dared to speak out about the abuse of human rights in Saudi Arabia, in particular those of women, Saudi Arabia flexed its financial muscles and the corporate big wigs in Sweden have tried their best to suppress the whole affair whilst the rest of Europe stands in a corner of the playground trying  to avoid making eye contact with the bully.

Been married 32 years and 1 day. Celebrated with a romantic meal for two last night but don't tell Diana  :-)
