Scapa Bay

The pilot boat 'John Rae' heading out to the oil tanker 'Alsace'. I was down early to take advantage of the low tide and do my monthly oiled birds survey of the shore between Scapa pier and Bendigo. One carcase, a shag, found but probably a storm casualty. The water was beautifully smooth and the air cool.
