Cookie Dough!

My friend recently visited Baltimore, Maryland.  She visited the Aquarium and some other cool places.  The coolest place though, was The Cookie Dough Café.  When she told me about this I thought it was so cool.  A café filled with different flavors of cookie dough? That sounds amazing!  They had so many different flavors.  There was cookies and cream, chocolate chip, sugar cookie, peanut butter, and many more.  You could but in bigger jars or dipping packets.  She bought a jar of the cookies and cream kind.  She told me that I had to try it because it was so good!  She brought it over to my house, and she was right, it was amazing.  We then got the bright idea to make our own edible cookie dough.   We looked up a recipe on Pinterest and whipped up a batch in five minutes.  The ingredients were almost the same as a chocolate chip cookie recipe, minus the eggs.  After we mixed up the ingredients, we split it in half and there was enough for two bowlfuls.  We couldn’t wait to dig in.  About five bites later we learned that we couldn’t handle it.  Although it tasted delicious, it was so sweet and so bad for us.  We felt so gross after eating it.  I don’t think we will ever do that  again!
