Cookbooks and Knick Knacks

Does anyone use cookbooks anymore?  When we remodeled our kitchen 5 years ago, we created a space for this bookshelf, but I rarely use a cookbook anymore.  It's so easy to go to Pinterest for Food Network.com or one of the other tech sites to find exactly the recipe you need/want in a few minutes.  

Cooking is like painting or writing a song. Just as there are only so many notes or colors, there are only so many flavors - it's how you combine them that sets you apart.
