On the road again

Today we departed New Orleans, LA, on a 5.5 hour drive to Memphis, TN.

I was quite amused by the studs on some of the vehicles you see on the road here.

The significance of the day, to me, wasn't so much going to Memphis. My brother arranged to head to Memphis to meet us two days earlier than planned. This was the first time I'd met him and his wife in nearly 7 years.

By the end of the day Beale street in Memphis already proved to be a much better street (musically) than even the Frenchman street in New Orleans. It was great to hear.
