Hair raising!

My poor old Dyson has had a lot to cope with over recent months and as a result, wasn't cleaning as well as it could.

I decided to pull it to bits and give it a good clean out to see if that might help.
What I like about Dyson's is that this is easy enough to do; you just need the inclination!

It was in desperate need.

The inner filter, next to the cyclone bit was all clogged with dust. The Cyclones themselves had two which were fully blocked. I poked them through then rinsed them under the tap to wash away the dust.

Next up was the proper filter; this too was full of dust and hair. Another good wash sorted this out. The instructions said to do this every 6 months, so note to self on that one!

The final task was to check the bristles......eeeeek! This is today's blip.....of all the hair (mine) that I removed from around the beater bar and bristles.

It looks like I scalped someone!
